The most meaningful advances in AI and machine learning tend to start quietly, with a question, an experiment, or a researcher following an idea that doesn't yet have a clear destination. Many of these ideas take shape in universities, labs, and independent research groups, often well before they find commercial application. Today, we’re introducing the Adaption Research Grant Program. The program provides selected academic researchers with complimentary access to the Adaption platform to support their work. The program is designed to make it easier for researchers to explore questions related to adaptive data systems, machine learning, and AI systems that operate in complex, real-world environments. Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis and open to researchers worldwide.

Adaption Research Grant Program: Where Curiosity Pushes Breakthroughs

Supporting Global Research
Projects supported through the program are expected to contribute to open scientific knowledge. We encourage proposals that aim to publish results or meaningfully advance the broader understanding of AI systems. AI research is not limited to a handful of institutions or geographies. Some of the most interesting work today is emerging from diverse academic communities across the world. For that reason, the Adaption Research Grant Program is designed to be global. Proposals are welcome from researchers and students across universities, labs, and institutions worldwide. The program has a particular interest in expanding access to researchers who may not otherwise have access to specialized infrastructure. Selected researchers will receive complimentary platform access to support their projects, and sufficient resources appropriate for their proposals. Over time, the program also aims to create opportunities for participating researchers to share their work with the broader community. As part of this effort, Adaption plans to host an annual research symposium where grant recipients can present their findings, exchange ideas, and connect with researchers from different disciplines.
Learning Alongside the Community
The Adaption Research Grant Program is an early step of our commitment to the wider research ecosystem, and will continue to grow based on the needs of the community. Researchers interested in applying can submit proposals below. Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis.
